Red Rocks Amphitheater is one of the most beautiful and special places in the world to see a show. But please don't leave your gum there!
There's a report from Food & Wine that talks about how a volunteer group, The Friends of Red Rocks, goes to clean up the venue once a month. A few people in the group make up the "Gum Scraping Crew" and they just cleaned 50 pounds of gum from underneath the benches. 50 pounds! And that's just from last year's shows!
Gum is not permitted at Red Rocks but it's not the worst thing in the world. At least people could put their chewy contraband in a trash can or swallow it, not just stick it under the benches. How rude!
