YUNGBLUD Can Now Say He Has A Gold Certified Single

YUNGBLUD's monumental year just got more impressive, as the English rocker just scored his first Gold certified single with "11 Minutes." For those who need a refresher, that means the collaborative single with Travis Barker and Halsey has sold the equivalent of 500,000 units.

This is the latest in a long list of achievements for the 22-year-old, who's gearing up to release his Hope For The Underrated Youth EP on Friday (October 18). The new collection of songs includes another collaboration with a notable nameImagine Dragons' Dan Reynolds — as well as singles "Parents" and "Hope For The Underrated Youth."

“I wanted this project to amplify a world that is consumed with unjustified hate," he said of the title track's graphic video (and album's general premise). "A world, where the common denominator of my generation is the fight for hope, unity and the deep desire for equality,” he said of the visuals. “Our ideologies are colliding head on with the hate around us, but we are beating it with a bouquet of f**king flowers! I wrote this project about the people I’ve met around the world, the stories I’ve heard and the journeys, that went on inside my own head."

YUNGBLUD is currently wrapping up his Twisted Tales of the Ritalin Club tour. Check out a full list of dates here.
