Roger Waters was just another passenger on the 6 train in New York City this past Saturday night when he was spotted on the subway by a fellow commuter.

The Pink Floyd co-founder and mastermind behind groundbreaking albums like The Wall, Dark Side of the Moon, Animals, Wish You Were Here and many others was photographed sitting beside the subway door during a ride up Manhattan, the New York Daily News reports.

The singer, songwriter and bassist went mostly unnoticed by fellow straphangers during his trip. He apparently spent part of the ride resting his eyes. He also petted a nearby dog before getting off at his stop.

Waters was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Pink Floyd in 1996, though he parted ways with the band in 1985.

Despite the schism, Rogers' live performances have drawn heavily from his beloved Pink Floyd catalog. He reunited with Pink Floyd in 2005 for what became the band's final live performance.

While Waters maintains a close relationship with Pink Floyd drummer Nick Mason, and joined the drummer on stage recently in New York, he and guitarist David Gilmour are apparently happier apart.

The rocker's latest album was 2017's politically-charged Is This The Life We Really Want? A concert film for his 'Us + Them' tour last year is due to theaters this fall.

Recently, Waters made news when it was revealed he helped rescue two Trinidadian boys from the Islamic State in war-torn Syria.
