Who Was Your Favorite Role Models? Mom or Dad?
When your ungrateful teenager treats you like crap, just remember it's the hormones. And they probably do look up to you . . .
A new survey found 74% of us have seen someone as a role model at some point in our lives. And our top role models are our PARENTS. Here are the top ten off the survey. . .
1. Dad. 47% said their dad has been a huge role model in their life.
2. Mom, 42%.
3. A favorite teacher, 41%.
4. A celebrity.
5. A coach or instructor.
6. A historical figure.
7. A manager or boss.
8. A pastor or youth leader.
9. A family friend.
10. A close friend of your own.
56% of us consider ourselves to be a role model to someone else, according to the poll. And the best pieces of advice we've gotten from role models are "don't worry what other people think" . . . "be proud of who you are" . . . and "just be yourself."

-For me.. I was all about my friends.. and it took a village to raise me. Neither of my parents really took that roll for me. I won't dwell on that, it was a learning lesson. So looking back, I would say it was my village that consisted (in order by timeline) my neighbors The Smith's, The Wallace's who took me in as their own, and my Aunt Brigette & Uncle Bob. Thank you <3
