Over the holiday weekend our very own Jennifer from Q103.3 had passed away. Over the last year plus she had been battling cancer. on 7/5/19 she passed away. I had a chance to visit her before she couldn't push through.. and it was good to catch up and just have some closure to the friendship. She leaves behind 4 children, 2 in college, and 2 under the age of 8 years old. If you would like to help the family, we will accept them here at the station, or you can set up and donate to the Meal Train set up by her friends.
This hits hard in our work family, Jenn and I have a long history together her at iHeart Temecula. She helped my radio journey while I have been here in Temecula. When I transferred here from 99.1 in 2005 we made a mini pact to turn this radio station into a real live entity here in the valley. She helped me with convincing the upper management to let me begin the "Lunchbox" in the mid day, and that catapulted me into the morning drive years later. Jenn will be missed by us. Jenn and I joked that the two of us are the last of the O.G.'s here. For us we were.
