Living in this area over the last 8 years, 15 working here, I have learned that this community really comes together in times of need. That is one of the many things to me that stand out about this community. I am proud that we can all come together to help each other. This story caught my attention from many mutual friends I have made out here. This story breaks my heart to learn that a local family had lost their mother, wife, sibling and friend while just after delivering her baby. The details below are taken from the GoFundMe Page put together by her loved ones.
My condolences to the Fierro family and friends.
On April 24th, 2019 the Fierro family suffered the most tremendous loss imaginable. The unexpected passing of the most amazing mother and wife.
Lisa and her husband went to the hospital for a scheduled labor induction to meet their 4th child, a precious baby boy. Lisa suffered major complications during labor. Baby boy was delivered by C-section successfully but Lisa’s condition soon worsened and she passed in the early morning hours at the young age of 32.
Lisa dedicated her life to her family and raising the most amazing kids. Her greatest joy was being a mother. She was the most caring, thoughtful, supportive, loyal, funny and loving woman. A light in everyone’s life that has been taken far too soon.
This loss is felt by so many people who love her deeply and need time to grieve and work through this trying time. Lisa’s husband and best friend of more than 15 years is doing an amazing job with baby and their 3 kids. Our hope is to alleviate the financial stress that can come with losing a loved one.
Any and all donations will go towards Lisa’s four children, husband and to provide necessities for the new baby. Our goal and main focus is to allow the kids some much needed time at home with their dad and family.
A donation of any size is so greatly appreciated. Please keep the Fierro family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you in advance for your help, love and support!
