2 months ago I shared a story about how the Rapper 2Chainz had an accident and had to be placed in a wheel chair for some of his shows that he booked on his tour. The article made it onto TMZ and also a couple Entertainment media outlets. (Story) Small world, that hot pink wheel chair was a custom creation of a man named Sean Mahaney of Seanco Custom Wheelchairs.
I met Sean via Social media, and the man is a genius. We had few conversations, I was even planning on buying new foot pegs for my Yamaha Bolt that were custom Bear Claw pedals from the BMX days. From the small conversations we had you could tell he had a big heart helping other using his craft, and designing awesome wheel chairs for people in need. In Riverside people knew him in the classic "Mini Truckin" scenes.
Sunday morning we found out that Sean had been in a horrible accident as he was on his way to meet up with fellow riding friends the So Cal Bolt Riders ( Fellow Yamaha Bolt Riders ) for a fundraiser to raise awareness for another cause. He didn't make it.
One of his last posts as he was trying to continue to do good things. The Distinguished Gentlemen's Ride If you wish to help his family I have attached a link to his family's GOFUNDME Page to help with the services.
Everyone who gets on a motorcycle knows the risk we take. We all hope to get home back to our families.
Sean was a great man. Family man, great friend, and a good soul.
If you could help his family, they would be grateful.
