Sickness and Mission Project

FYI the flu is still rocking my family. I may or may-not have been the girl at 8:45 last night sitting inside a PB Pharmacy crying while waiting. I only got one day sick in bed and since then have been taking care of the hubby around the clock. He started feeling better Wednesday night so I thought yesterday was finally going to be my day to rest and recover. But I got home and he was all jacked up again. We did a video chat with a doctor who called in some meds. I called the pharmacy to find out when exactly it would be ready so I could just swing in and pick it up super fast. When I got there it wasn't ready, hadn't been started and then I watched multiple walk ups get their prescription first. I just sat there with tears streaming down my face. I couldn't even speak. They apologized and I just nodded my head with a red and tear stained face. I have no clue how our daughter is going to get to school this morning. As of last night there is no way the hubby can drive her. I plan to check in with them when they wake up in a few hours. Really hoping we can get over the hump this weekend! Please think healthy thoughts for us.

On Tuesday of this week my daughter had her big 4th grade mission project due. This is where they write a speech about their assigned mission and then most kids build a model to go along with the presentation. So we had slowly been gathering all our mission pieces for about a month. FYI no mission kits allowed. So come Monday with the hubby (the handy one) sick as a dog, I had to get in there and help out daughter finish her mission. I know the hubby would have done a better job but I think it came out half decent. Here is our version of Nuestra Senora de la Soledad...........
